  Nitpick this pic
Posted by: Terry Bentley - 12-18-2023, 05:07 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, see what you can pick out in this one.

This pic was taken at the 1959 GPKCA Nationals Labor Day weekend in Allentown Pa. It was a 100 mile race.

Engine on the #7 kart is a Power Products AH-81 mounted on a 1959 Bug driven by Capt "Red" Crise.
Bob Palmini came up with this idea as an early version of the Nassau panel.
Did you notice these karts even have bumpers?

Look over the picture and add what you can. What you see and what you might think is going on.

  SOLD MC 90 fir sale
Posted by: Mark Loraine - 11-02-2023, 03:11 PM - Forum: For Sale/Wanted - Replies (1)

.jpg   MC90.JPG (Size: 101.08 KB / Downloads: 5)    SOLD

Please keep in mind when reading this Craigslist posting of my MC90 engine, I am speaking to the GDP, and certainly not to the seasoned veteran Vintage and Historic karters on this forum! If Forum readers are interested, use the PM method for contact and not the craigslisp contact option. This will allow you to get the engine for a $50 discount. ($525 plus shipping and insurance)
(Just letting you know I don’t use auto spell correct)
This is a cash sale only and those  that want it shipped with insurance will need to use a POSTAL Money order, as I am not 1099K friendly.

Exceptionally nice block/crank and piston & rod assembly, all stock OEM parts present. Most of the hardware is allen head though.

Does anyone know who ran/had the website kartingarchives.com? It is down and if I had the files for the catalogs and ads I could host them to be searched and viewed again.

  Freeing stuck piston in WB820
Posted by: DeanRichards - 07-01-2023, 04:40 PM - Forum: General - Replies (3)

Good afternoon,

I picked up a couple Chrysler/WB ultra lite motors the other day and one of the pistons seems to be stuck/froze up in the cylinder. What would be the best option on trying to get it freed up? I have been soaking it with WD but it doesn't want to break loose. Just don't want to be hammering on any parts. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I need the aluminum riser block that bolts to the stuffer end of the west bend 820 block then bolts to the slider mount on a sidewinder kart. Please pm me if you have one to sell.
