photo compilation from 2012 & UP links from "wayback"
Posted by: Mark Loraine - 03-12-2024, 05:33 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

I'sa messin around with the wayback machine for vintage/ kart/ mcculloch and came up with this page with photo's from around the country since 2012 if anyone cares to review pictures that may be long forgotten.

https://vintagekartclubofamerica.com/htm/photos.htm

now it looks like many pictures are missing, but there is enough there to save to a thumb drive or ext hard drive to preserve whats left should anyone feel the need to archive.

I'll include a couple others found in the way back machine;

  Пословна опрема
Posted by: MarkConley - 03-08-2024, 03:59 PM - Forum: Italian Vintage Karts - No Replies

  FS vintage race go kart
Posted by: Mark Lindner - 03-04-2024, 12:12 PM - Forum: For Sale/Wanted - No Replies

Spent the winter with my grandson refurbishing my sons go kart after hanging on the wall for 30 years. Purchased used race kart late 70's for my 10 year old son. I think it is a Bug Wasp Sidewinder, race motor long gone. It has a four stroke engine, hydraulic brakes, repacked wheel bearing, new rear tires, frame cleaned and repainted,  aluminium pans media blasted, all new stainless hardware. Still repairing fiberglass seat. Will take more pictures. Located near Madison WI. Asking $3,000. Thanks, Mark  Can't seem to get a pictured posed, what am i missing.

Kart sellers: Users of Market Place on Facebook had a 200K hack.
Posted by: Mark Loraine - 02-20-2024, 10:35 AM - Forum: General - No Replies

For the people using Market Place to buy and sell their Kart parts and such should probably change your passwords for all sensitive account information on your stupid phones.  Clicking on links of recent has also come to be more dubious with re-directing to other sites and even to malware. Thats why I give the title of the article besides the article link itself.
Although the article is dated 2/14/24 it does reach back to 10/23 for the actual hack, so this could be old news to some, so consider it a reminder.

  new users just verified
Posted by: David Luciani - 02-19-2024, 05:25 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

hi guys, been buried in work.
i just went in admin and went through all the backlogged new user requests.
i allowed alot of newbes but didn't make a list.
so anyone who set up an account check to see if you were activated.

if you used a "handle" or email you were deleted and need to re apply.
if you used a real looking name i probably allowed your account.
as per usual if you were missed or need help send me a email at
vintage.karts@aol.com

i'll get you squared away eventually.
work is hectic and i have little spare time.
we're a low buck operation here so sometimes it'll take forever but we will get to you.

  Id-ing mcculloch engines
Posted by: David Luciani - 02-13-2024, 09:55 AM - Forum: General - Replies (5)

So Billy Rice asked a good question on facebook.
He wants a way to i.d. mccullochs without any tags or numbers.
It's been posted in the past long ago but I suspect is no longer available.
I'm posting this on my phone so no info from me today.
We'll need pix and discriptions of the differences in the motors.

  Rupp turbines

I'd like to find a decent set of rear turbines, just the inner axle part.  I have the outer trim pieces.  If you have something let me know.  Thanks

Bob Alexander
