This is one of my new/old project engines for the 2017 season. It is a classic modified all out Mc10 that I want to run in the historical class. It is done up with period correct accessories except for maybe a Cresent AlKY carb. I have also added a few porting touches which should help performance.  Still waiting for the Go-Power stuffer that is coming next week, then all I need to do is polish the head shroud and finish her up. I have high hopes that she will be a good runner.

Found this photo of the Banking at Camden / G&J Raceway in Ohio in 1971. The Banking is no longer there. VKA Event is at Camden this year Aug 24th 25th and 26th.

I was thinking about the limited 820 piston choices performance wise and I figured I would ask a question that might me be rediculous. Whats to stop someone from getting a single ring , or  even better a blank piston if possible , I dont know if US MOPO had just made one run of pistons through thier supplier. What would be hard about putting one on a lathe for  thin rings ? Besides location of the rings. I never weighed an old Wiseco as opposed to a newer style . I was just curious.
