Of the several karts I have, this one is my favorite and I am very proud to own it. I agree with Mr. Steve Welte when he says, "It's the coolest kart ever made." There is no mistaking a Blackhawk Kart, it's unique engineered design and characteristic look is like no other kart made, before or after. Below are a few photos of the Poison Arrow I was lucky enough to find locally. Also, the following is an excerpt of an email I received from Marshall Fairman in response to my inquiry to learn more about the kart:

Vince, I’ll type an answer after each question.  Sorry for slow reply.  You’ve got a couple of nice options on the kart.  Full width rear bumper was an option.  Without it the hoop style front bumper would have been on the back.  There was also a front porch option that extended the leg room and put a more protective bumper on the front.  You have dual rear brakes on the frame uprights that wasn’t put on a lot of the karts.  Those were Hurst Airheart front wheel brake brackets that we welded to the frame uprights to allow mounting the caliper or dual calipers there.  Most karts had them in middle of the axle mounted off of the bearing support where the bottom motor mount tube with the shock rubbers mount to the bearing support.

Can't see any pics
It wouldn't let me post any, said they exceed 2048 "kilobytes". What's a kilobyte?! I thought we were suppose to be able to post photos with ease. Not sure how the images are too big. I'll take new photos and try to post them instead...
I'm still using PhotoBucket to do all my photos. Free and resizes them for me.

guys, easiest way to post is to use the new attachment function bottom left of page just below.
the way you do it.
leave or drop pix onto your desktop hit the new attachment button down left it says browse.
a new window should open with evverything on your desktop or maybe a drop down asking where to go if you get the drop down pick desktop
you'll see a bunch of stuff pictured in new window. find the pix you want to post highlite it and hit the open button
you'll be returned to posting page opposite the new attachment browse button theres another button called add attachment hit that button and attachment will appear just below on left and two buttons remove and insert in post will appear on right. hit insert in post then hit post reply.
new pix will appear.

a little complicated first try but easy as pie after that
