Thanks
Mike -- most of the West Bend cranks on the 580/700 that we make clutches for are a straight 9/16, with a 1/8 woodruff key closes to the crankcase and they are threaded at the end with a 7/16-20 RH or LH thread. I have also seen them with a full length keyway in a 1/8 width. I have also noticed that the 580 crankshaft doesn't seem to be as hard as the 820 step crank. I have been able to mill a 1/8" keyway in 580 crank so the person could inboard mount the clutch but it did take a while and I only did .010 cut each time but then I work slow at my age to start with.
