here's a great seminar on bandsaw adjustment
one of the coolest things I've run into is taking a band saw like that for metal and turning it into a friction saw. Thing really cranks some r's and you can cut at unbelievable rates.

I only watched it. Had next to know teeth left on the blade. fire flys off the blade. Cuts about as fast as you can feed metal. I guess special blade. google some stuff and you tube friction saw test 5
