By now many know the Michigan Kart Club has disbanded a couple of months ago. They have held races at a variety of venues over it's 50 year history. At the top of my head Michigan International Speedway, Grattan and Waterford Hills. It turned out my first enduro road race was the MKC's (MIS) last event.

Another long running club continues, Dart Kart Club. Well known for holding the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course event and expanding last year (2017) to run the Pittsburgh International Raceway Complexn kart road race event. Again with the invitation of the Dickel family, I was extended an offer to run Dave's 1982 Hartman kart ride in his absence for my first drive ever at Pitt this Autumn (2018). We missed on the tire pressures, but I did shoot an onboard video of this incredible setting. Shot with a 360 degree view camera and edited to be shown in Garmin's HyperFrame. It's hard to explain, the effect is very much like the on-board camera action of the MGM movie "Grand Prix" (1966)...
