Just dropped by to share some pictures.  I found something interesting at the Jefferson, WI. swap meet last year and have done some research.  Around 1960 or so the Watsonian Swallow motorcycle side car company in England was making Karts based on the 1957'ish Jaguar D-Type, that is the one with the fin.  They did some without the fin as well (later models I believe).  I found the later model first , then a D-Type that someone had cut the fin off of appeared on eBay.  I can fix that missing fin!  In fact, my nickname is KevFin.  I don't think these were very fast back in the day, the older one is severely geared down.  I can fix that too!  They are very roomy and will hold two kids very safely.  I have a 3 year old so I figure on about 5 years or so to restore the pair.  I'll use 5 hp Honda engines due to the low profile.  Hope you enjoy the pictures.  They seem to be rare here in the USA.  I've got a picture of a restored one in England I'll post too as well as a real one in yellow off the internet.  -KevFin
