any suggestions on single rear kart gear ratio?
Hi John. With stock Mc9X's, we typically run 9/64 (7.1:1) or 10/72 (7.2:1) at Oreville and the other NE tracks. That's pretty conservative. If you're heavier and/or have a well-tuned setup, you could go as deep as 9/68 (7.56:1) or 10/76 (7.6:1) with a Mac.
We ran our stock US820 for years at Oreville at around 10/69 (6.9:1).
See you there!
Btt.......
Al,
I don't see sportsman Rear on there, there will possibly be 5-6 of us in that class.
Do you know if Bary will run that or will we be put into 6.1 rear?
Just wondering,
Scott
We are running Sportsman Rear as a separate class. I’m hoping to have one ready also. Still waiting on an engine.

That is great, looking forward to it.

Are we able to use go pro helmet camera’s at this event. I believe the sportsman rear class deserves filming.

GW what’s your thoughts ?
..no riding till noon ...makes me wonder why .. is it that not many karts show up .,the tracks not technical and easy to figure out ..or both ...??
my stuffs so slow I need 3 -4 more practice sessions than everyone else just to turn the same amount of laps they do in 1 or 2 sessions ..lol
