THE FIRST CHRIS SAHAJIAN MEMORIAL KARTING PLAY DAY Looking to see if there's any interest in an event @ Thompson Speedway in Thomson CT. This will be a spring ice breaker the dates I've been offered are April 12th & 13th. these dates are on a Thursday and Friday. This is to be a make up date for the event that got canceled last October and will give us the opportunity to use the whole track again to ourselves and run many different configuration's including the full course. That means enduro karts, sprint karts and a separate class for 4 cycle karts. They are also looking to another date sometime in the fall TBD...Please let me know your thoughts, ideas etc. Thank You
WE CAN JUST DO FRIDAY ALSO.
THE COST FOR THE DAY WILL BE $60.00
I would plan on at least attending on Friday.

I will do one day. I would prefer Friday, but will do Thursday if that's the only day.

Bill ,Thursday will be test and tune play day....but friday hopefully will be the big day if this damn weather holds off!
Ted 2 days work for me since I'm only1 hour away from the track...all efforts are appreciated I'm sure
i'm gonna be there unless something goes south between now and then.
are we getting the track or the lot to use?
D Cool
I'll be there Thursday and Friday with my Chaparral with a sportsman engine. Gears will depend on which track we will be running so I'll bring a bunch.
Looking forward to it.
Scott
checked with work.
they have me in philly tuesday/wendsday but promise i'll be home before 10 pm wendsday.
that's why we're leaving early @ 2 a.m. tuesday to get to job site.
i don't really believe that we'll be back before it's thursday morning early so definitely friday maybe thursday.
ted asked if i'd cook burgers and i can but it'll be friday not thursday.

am wondering if we should do burgers as lunch or after we wrap up driving at night.
am leaning towards dinner myself.

ATTENTION IN THE PITS...
I just had a meeting @ Thompson and things look good for the future, possibly a future date next year in June ...but...
this coming weekend Thompson's Ice Breaker has 400 race cars registered which maybe cancelled to to inclement  weather,(snow) therefore ,they will need to use our weekend (April 12th & 13th) for their rain date. They are working on a rain date for us possibly the end of April.
I will keep you informed. thank you for your understanding....
we got the snow here so our event next week may be in trouble.
Ted is trying his best to get us back in there but we are basically at the will of the weather when we beg an open slot for free.
even with us paying entry fees we will not come close to covering the track rent that a car club pays ($15,000) so we will occasionally get bumped.

i hope not because i'm planning on being there to visit.
i may be scrubbed as a driver my back is wonky again may even have to see a doctor about it.
