The experts have informed me that these wheels are not Mcculloch. Therefore they are no lomger for sale.

Thanks, Tony
The experts are correct.

Azusa made the wheels for McCulloch.

When Azusa started making them to sell themselves as Tri Stars, they first added a lip on the outer edge of the rim. but retained the counterbores for the hardware.  Then they changed the hardware.

See photo.....

BTW, it took a lot of back-and-forth on the Forum to sort this all out.

The photo of the ad tells the whole story.
You are correct Jim. Thomas and Enzo schooled me on Azusa wheels.

Someone will want them.
Tony, the wheels are actually more rare than McCulloch wheels.

And, they are a great conversation starter.

I figure, you show up at Adams with those wheels, then we "spend" a whole bottle of good Zin just discussing the provenance of the wheels.
LoL sounds good Jim.

see now you guys are talking wheel tech and adult grape juice and i might need to book a flight
Tom,

Adams veterans all well know that there is a guy who wanders around the kart show and barbecue with a nearly endless supply of hand-picked adult grape juice and cups for those who prefer that sort of thing.

Book yer flight!
