[attachment=2800][attachment=2800]Sneaky Pete Berlt was a colorful man with a distinctive laugh.  He was a great driver he raced for and with Mick Rupp always in C open thru the 60's and into the 70's.  He was a national champ several times.  He attended several VKA events with his best friend Butch Stewart.    Pete had been ill for the last couple years and was in a home in West Virginia.    Pete will be missed !  God Bless his soul.

A sad day when we lose one of our own.

Pete was a great competitor. We will miss him. Prayers for Pearl and Jerry. Ted
Great pic, Tom. I assume it's Rathmann's old shop in Miami? I went there once in late '61. His Melbourne shop was about 4 miles from our West Melbourne shop. Pop bought his El Camino and GMC Caballero from Rathmann. Ted
Tom,

Great stuff. You always blow us away.

Many thanks!
Very sad to hear of the passing of Pete
