just finished welding in a new pan on this old Blitz Kart not so easy with
the way its fixed to all the outer tubing and welded but kinda happy with
the way its turning out i like the design of this kart so it worth the extra work
i solved my mag go power wheel problem a very good local welder tig welded (magnesium)
the 2 chips i had in the rims and i was able to re machine them re -finish them original color, they still seam
to be strong but i don't plan on any hard racing with 55 year old stuff next step is paint and assembly
very nice work.
glad to see it's coming right along.
It's starting to take shape now. And it looks like you had some luck with the wheels too. What part of the country are you in Richard?

Hi i live on Long Island were these were made at Huntington Station LI.
so i remember never have the money to buy one, there was a Blitz Kart Statium and spent much time
searching the web trying to find out were the track was and when i brought the
wheels to Accrete welding in Westbury NY. shop the owner Joe told me where it was
funny he said he use to race his Kart there many times it was in Commack NY. suffolk county
at one time there was 40 race tracks where i live and now we a down to only one sad.

Thanks Dave
i have a hard time finding any info on these even search all the Kart shows
on youtube i think i may have spotted maybe one, it looks like it had traces
of blue paint when it was new like the marina blue but i am not sure all the rattle
can jobs after adds to the confusion i wish some one had a color code for the three colors they came in
