This isn't vintage, per se, but I think it is relevant.  With college, a war and a family, my serious involvement in kart racing got a bit of a late start.......

So, celebrating my 20th consecutive year of high-performance kart racing at the Blue Max Kart Club in Davis California, including 4 class championships, and in the "lightening ship" preparation for our move from Livermore to West Sacramento, I gathered all my trophies together for an "official" photos before I dumped all but a few.  Yes, you fellow racers, I did pull off all the plaques and will eventually do a collage.  2018 will be my 21st year of active kart racing.
Wow very nice..always like read or hear stories like this..great job James..
The kart, by the way, is the last Avenger chassis that left Linda Emmick's shop before she sold out.  I had it done as a bare frame and finished it myself with a few mods (seat sliders, underseat pan, adjustable side pods, etc.) and new parts and parts from the Venom I had been running.
