I remember that the Bennetts have made a replacement rod for the 100cc Macs. I have a few questions on them, mainly what are they using for lower rod bearings? Stock Mac or a currently available bearing?

The use standard Mac needles.
[*]couple of questions

  • what kind of money do the new rods cost i might be buying a couple if my budget allows.
  • can we get some pix of the rods and contact info to post on forum?
  •  does the new rod come with the needles or do you have to source them elsewhere?
Thank You! Exactly what I was looking for.
Last I knew they were $165 but that may have changed. A bargain at twice the price in my opinion.
165.00 may seem pricey .
but the destruction a broken rod brings to a nice motor easily trumps that number.
(no pun intended)
anyone have pix of these?
they work great,,have them in many of my 100 cc motors,,,,,

cheap insurance,,,

Cool part but not necessary for a stock 91 or any of the lesser powered motors like the 6,7,8,9, or 49 series.
I have NOS 91B1 rods in original packaging complete with NOS rod bolts and NOS needle bearings for $100 shipped.
Buy direct rather than through ebay and save $8
