Brandon Adkins posted this on his Facebook page:

"It is with great sadness and heavy heart I announce the passing of my father Kyle Adkins. So many things to say and or do. I'm just at a loss for words right now. I hope everyone understands. We will have more information available soon. "

RIP
So very sad.
God be with Kyle family and friends.
E karting news had this :  The legendary karter went in his sleep, confirmed by his son Brandon Adkins. Kyle recently had heart surgery, the same day his brother Tony Adkins passed away from a long battle with cancer.

Kyle was a great driver some say the best ever. He was also a great engine builder, track owner and a great person. I'm proud to say he was my friend .
There is a memorial celebration at the Adkins track Sunday April 30th. Anyone is welcome.
God Speed my friend.
