$250 shipped United States only or trade of equal value. motor is pretty much as found. in need of restoration/rebuild. appears to be standard bore. motor appears to be in good shape although it hasn't been run in 40 years. appears to have a thin ring moss piston? definitely aftermarket. no stuffer manifold. original carb but throttle shaft is broken. will add more pictures if needed

Chuck, I took a better look at the pic you sent. I'm pretty sure the piston is Moss from the shape of the scallops. Ted
ted, thanks. the only reason i thought that is because the top of the piston looked like this one. even though this is for a mcculloch the domes are the same.

Were those pistons any good?  I've seen the brand before but don't know anything about them.
Actually, yes they were. It seemed that most Macs gained from the slightly quicker intake timing. Of course, these pistons weren't needed on engines with modified ports. Moss pistons were pretty light, and they were well made. TJ
